Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 2:30, Deuteronomy 5:16, Proverbs 3:9, Romans 12:10

Memory VerseLove one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Romans 12:10 (ESV)

Would you want to capture Year 2021 with living proofs following? Then, you must not despise the ministry of men. Friend, you must learn to honour men. Let’s take Jesus, the Son of God as a case study. Can you imagine that the heavens over the head of Jesus Christ, the beloved son of God remained shut until he honoured the ministry of John the Baptist? God uses men to raise other men. The earlier you embrace, appreciate, and celebrate this all-important principle, the better for your destiny. The law of honour!

Honour has a body language. It can be discerned. God’s servant, Apostle Joshua Selman said, “There are three (3) things that brings men down. First, dishonour to God. Second, dishonour to men. Third, dishonour to principles. Furthermore, though several prophecies had gone ahead of Jesus with some dated 600 years before He was born, a woman in the person of Anna had to dedicate 60 years of her life in prayer and intercession to convert all the prophecies into manifestations.

No wonder baby Jesus had to go to the temple to honour such a great woman. Not until then, heavens didn’t permit her to die. Friends, your destiny is at the mercy of those you honour or dishonour. Check that door that closed against you last year. It was most likely due to a relationship you trivialized or an act of disobedience to God or man. That’s the tragedy of dishonour. Apostle Selman further said, “There are many dimensions to every man. It is the dimension you honour that will bring his riches to you.

Human beings are mysterious beings. All you see is not all there is.” You will never receive from anyone you perceive to be on the same plane with you. There must be spiritual, intellectual, or material potential difference. Someone has to discern and acknowledge the difference in grace. Can you ignore the weaknesses in men in order to receive their contributions and blessings into your life? That was the secret of Elisha’s success when he had to work with a highly temperamental prophet like Elijah. The vessels God may want to use for you may be smelly, inconsiderate or awkward, but can you endure their excesses? Receive humility to discern honour in Year 2021, in Jesus name.

Quote: Everything comes from God through man to other men.

Prophetic Decree: In Year 2021, your destiny must rise, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Almighty God, I honour You for who You are.

2. I receive the blessings wrapped up in vessels needed to accelerate my destiny this Year 2021, in Jesus name.

3. I will not count days but will number my achievements in Year 2021, in Jesus name.

4. I receive humility to minister honour, in Jesus name.

5. Father, backdate my blessings that has been lost to dishonour, in Jesus name.
