Bible Reading: Proverbs 24:16, Psalm 37: 23-24

Memory Verse:  Don’t interfere with good people’s lives; don’t try to get the best of them. No matter how many times you trip them up, God-loyal people don’t stay down long; Soon they’re up on their feet, while the wicked end up flat on their faces. Proverbs 24: 15-16 (MSG)

God’s servant, Dr. D.K. Olukoya said: No human being can lay claim to being a hundred percent perfect all the time. The only person that is perfect is our Father in heaven. The day you begin to make claims that you are perfect, you have enrolled in the school of failure. Mistakes are part of one’s daily life. And people do make mistakes. Mistakes can be made on your job, on your choice of friends, through your financial decisions, in the course of your duties. Though some mistakes can be devastating yet, mistakes can be converted for your good. Past failure can become future success.

There are many mistakes that Christians and believers make. These include:

1. We make mistakes from negligence. Such mistakes generally happen as a result of laziness, oversight, indiscipline, inconsistency. The priest Eli was a negligent father.

2. There could be mistakes from foolish curiosity. This affects mostly the young. “Oh, come on, don’t be so old fashioned!” “Come on, try it, it won’t harm you!” This is how smoking, drug addiction, fornication, and perversion start. When they started, they felt they could control it but it is now controlling them.

3. There are mistakes from fear or being in a hurry. Many make terrible decisions because of panic and fear. Many make terrible decisions because they are in a hurry. They want to make money in a hurry. They want a God of the microwave, so they make mistakes.

4. There are ignorant mistakes. For example, Moses killing the Egyptian was an ignorant mistake. The person may have the right motive and good intention but using the wrong strategy. However, the good news is this: You can recover from all the mistakes in life and get them converted to miracles.

Quote:  From MISS -take to RE-take. You can always get it right, and then get it better done.

Prophetic Decree: That mistake shall not write the last chapter of your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for your word of illumination.

2. I break the hold of confusing powers in my mind, in Jesus name.

3. Powers sponsoring unpardonable mistakes in my life, die, in Jesus name.

4. I receive the power of love and sound mind, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, please take me out of the path of costly mistakes which could lead to destiny damage, in Jesus name.
