Bible Reading:  1 Corinthians 15:58

Memory VerseBut may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 1 Peter 5:10 (NKJV)

Punitive measures are actions deliberately taken to inflict pain and suffer a person, people or organization in concern. She was a devoted Christian banker. Her boss who was a rascal hated her for this. She was always straight forward and very prayerful. She wouldn’t accept all the sexual advances of his boss. As a punitive measure, her boss transferred her to another state that was not flourishing. She kept her faith in the Lord and continued to work steadfastly in all righteousness. As the branch manager of the bank, she introduced early morning devotion. Like unto Joseph even in the pit, God’s favour overshadowed her immensely and her banking career began to flourish. One thing led to the other during her line of duty, and she met her husband.

The punitive measure melted out on her by her boss connected her to the crown of her head. Isn’t God amazing? Incredible God!  What are you going through dear sister? Oh, you are tired of the mockery, the shame, and the ridicule of serving God but no suitable suitor.  Perhaps people have started suggesting that you compromise some of your godly standards. Don’t give in to such. Keep waiting on the Lord. Be steadfast. Only those that endure till the end will be saved. Delay in God is not denial. God is a God of time and season. When it is not yet your time in the school of life, stay on the queue. The bone of your bone, and flesh of your flesh will soon locate you at the right time.

Brother, God has got you. Don’t relent in your service unto the Lord. The pain will soon be over because joy comes in the morning. I dedicate this devotional to all those persecuted for righteousness sake. Joy comes in the morning.

Quote:  Pain usually preceeds gain; shame usually preceeds glory. Stay on God.

Prophetic Decree: Your enemies shall make the mistake that will advance your destiny, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father because all power belongs to You.

2. I refuse to compromise my faith. I shall stand my ground in righteousness, in Jesus name.

3. My Father, uphold me with your right hand of righteousness, in Jesus name.

4. I have set my face like a flint; I shall not turn my back on Jesus, in Jesus name.

5. Thank you Father because my problem shall end in praise, and shall draw all men unto you, in Jesus name.

6. I receive grace to wait on God in season and out of season, in Jesus name.
