Bible Reading: Matthew 9: 36-38
Memory Verse: Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Matthew 9:37 (NKJV)
A brother said he was in tears on his way from a particular local government in sub-saharan Africa. A crowd of youths headed in nudity to what is called an official day of BURUKU BEACH PARTY, a yearly demonic orchestration to waste souls. Looking at these youths, he said you could clearly see the spirit of madness amongst them. These massive crowd of youths came from every nook and cranny of the state in their hundreds. Can you believe this? One of the activities witnessed on the beach is open sexual act which could be a sort of competitive game. Yearly, it is reported by news stations across the country of the death of youths. At a time about a hundred youths lost their lives in a popular river located in that locality. This brother said, “I was in tears. I have been traumatized by that encounter. I wish I have the means to be everywhere declaring Jesus. Brethren, if you think many are saved, you could as well put that in prayer. A lot of lives are on their way to hell. What I saw made me tell myself that I am joking if I think I have gone a mile with winning souls.”
We need to rise. We shouldn’t do evangelism casually. Our generation is in gross darkness in need of salvation. If the Lord has blessed you financially, put it into the hands of those on the mission field. What you have can facilitate the move. If you have a ministerial call, please don’t make it business as usual. We are in a serious need for revival. Let’s put our hands together.
Dear brethren, evangelism remains God’s heart beat. Go, Give and Groan towards its actualization. There are still genuine mission group especially to rural areas who are in dire need of manpower and financial power. Allow God to lead you towards at least one. He that wins a soul is wise. Your salary shouldn’t touch your hand and there is no quota for Missions and the Mission field. In the long run what matter is how many lives you were able to bring out from the dungeon of hell. Imagine a generation of youths in this 21st century practising such abominable act in broad day light. First, they need Jesus. Secondly, they need resocialisation, education, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, skills, etc. Why should you be living and the devil is having a field day?

Prayer Focus
1. My Father, please grant me grace to be a greater tool of evangelism, in Jesus name.
2. I receive a heart of compassion for souls, in Jesus name.
3. Fresh fire for evangelism, burn upon my heart, in Jesus name.
4. O Lord, please send harvesters into your field, in Jesus name.
5. Let the power of the Holy Spirit, heal, comfort, and encourage the hearts of weary evangelist, in Jesus name.
6. O Lord, please send your fresh fire upon evangelists and missionaries in the mission field, in Jesus name.
