Bible Reading: Revelations 12:11

Memory Verse: … the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10 (NKJV)

A brother (names withheld) was watching a live programme taking place in Nigeria from Atlanta, USA. In the programme, the man of God gave a testimony of how he overheard the chauffeur he was assigned say that his son had just died. Just before he bid him goodbye, he asked for the name of the child.

Then, like Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus, he called forth the name of the dead child out of the grave, and the good Lord honoured his cry. The brother from Atlanta further said: Since I was alone in the living room while hearing this testimony,

I decided that my wife must hear it as well, so I paused and went upstairs and told her to take a break from what she was doing and watch with me. By the time we heard the whole testimony, the kind of faith that rose in my heart was out of this world. Later, when we got the news about Shade (not real name). I immediately cried to God based on that testimony and had peace in my heart. 

The next evening (Saturday), my wife came downstairs crying that the doctors were saying there was no hope and they had asked the hospital chaplain to come and pray for her (perhaps to administer final rites). 

I grabbed my wife and shook her gently and reminded her of the testimony we watched together the previous day. Then she gathered herself together. Well, 24 hours later, we got the news that Shade had come to ask for pepper soup.

They prepared it, and she ate the whole thing! This was the girl they said had an infection that had poisoned her blood and all her internal organs. Indeed, what God does for one, God does for all! Friends, the power of testimonies is such that they build the faith of its hearers, and as well, they can reproduce themselves in the lives of those that believe. Do you believe?

Prophetic Decree: Let the altar of today’s testimony give birth to a miracle of resurrection in the work of your hands and family, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus

1. Say: Lord, I believe; please help my unbelief, in Jesus name. 

2. I cast out the spirit of unbelief out of my heart in Jesus name.

3. By the power of testimony, nothing good dies in my hands, in Jesus name. 

4. By the power of testimony, I invoke the resurrection power in the Blood of Jesus upon my family, in Jesus name. 

5. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I come against every hindrance to my testimony, in Jesus name.
