Bible Reading: Zechariah 4:7
Memory Verse: For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37 (AMP)
1. Andrea Dalzell, also known as “The Seated Nurse,” made history as the first registered nurse in a wheelchair in New York State. Diagnosed with transverse myelitis at just five years old, she lost mobility and became a full-time wheelchair user by the age of twelve.
Despite facing countless rejections — including 76 job interviews, her determination led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a licensed nurse in 2018. Beyond nursing, Andrea is a strong advocate for disability rights, breaking barriers in the medical field and inspiring others with her journey.
2. Srikanth Bolla was born blind. He was once told he was ‘useless.’ His school denied him the right to study science, coaching institutes refused to teach him, and IITs shut their doors on him. But he refused to accept limitations. He took the education board to court—and won. He applied to US universities—MIT welcomed him with open arms, making him the first blind international student to study there with full financial aid.
Returning to India, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries, a crore company that manufactures eco-friendly products and employs the differently-abled. “Through all of these setbacks to reaching the chairs of Shark Tank, from a remote unknown village to being worthy of being called inspiration. My guiding power has been pure belief in oneself.” he shared on IG.
Challenge:
A. Challenges are part of life. Never allow your limitations to limit you.
B. If people with physical disability could make a great story out of their lives, there shouldn’t be any challenge capable of stopping your destiny. With God, when there is a will, there is a way.
Quote:
I. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will – M. Gandhi
II. If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them – Bruce L.
Prophetic Decree: Your limitations shall spring you up unto higher ground, in Jesus name.
