Bible Reading: Romans 4: 20-21, Hebrews 6:12

Memory VerseFor ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promiseHebrews 10:36 (KJV)

It was God’s servant, John Oyediran who wrote:

He started small — a wooden kiosk tucked between two noisy shops, somewhere in Lagos.

Every morning, while others rushed into traffic and timelines, he whispered one prayer: “Lord, keep me where You placed me.”

People mocked him.

He looked like a man losing time, yet he was actually learning obedience.

Because sometimes God hides your promotion in prolonged patience.

He doesn’t test your talent — He tests your trust.

In the kingdom, speed is never proof of success; stability is.

You don’t measure destiny by visibility, but by alignment.

Everyone loves the part where Joseph interprets dreams, but few notice the years he interpreted silence.

Faith is not proven in your results — it’s proven in your refusal to relocate when nothing seems to work.

Obedience will sometimes make you look slow among men but fast in eternity.

You may look like you’re dying, but something in you is being refined.

Some victories don’t shout; they sanctify.

Sometimes the proof that you’re growing is that you no longer fight the seasons God sent to humble you.

So if what you heard from God still doesn’t make sense, don’t quit.

It’s not confusion — it’s consecration.

The road to resurrection always passes through ridicule.

You’re not failing — you’re being formed.

God hides His finest work in seasons that look like loss.

Stay faithful. The same place that broke you will one day bless you.

QuoteSometimes, God hides your promotion in prolonged patience – John Oyediran.

Prophetic Decree:  Receive grace to birth your Isaac without an Ishmael to fight him, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord, please keep me where You placed me despite the pain in my flesh, in Jesus name.

2. Holy Spirit, please help me by faith and patience to inherit the promise, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to endure the season of silence, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to endure my wilderness season, in Jesus name.

5.  I receive grace to no longer fight the seasons God sent to humble me, in Jesus name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 23-25

HYMN: IT PAYS TO SERVE JESUS, I SPEAK FROM MY HEART

1. It pays to serve Jesus, I speak from my heart;

He’ll always be with us, if we do our part;

There’s naught in this wide world can pleasure afford,

There’s peace and contentment in serving the Lord.

Refrain:

I love Him far better than in days of yore,

I’ll serve Him more truly than ever before;

I’ll do as He bids me, whatever the cost,

I’ll be a true soldier — I’ll die at my post.

2. And oft when I’m tempted to turn from the track,

I think of my Savior — my mind wanders back

To the place where they nailed Him on Calvary’s tree—

I hear a voice saying, I suffered for thee.

3. There’s a place that remembrance still brings back to me,

’Twas there I found pardon — ’twas Heaven to me;

There Jesus spoke sweetly to my weary soul,

My sins were forgiven, He made my heart whole.

4. How rich is the blessing the world cannot give,

I’m satisfied fully for Jesus to live;

Tho’ friends may forsake me, and trials arise,

I’m trusting in Jesus, His love never dies.
