Bible Reading: Daniel 10:12–13

Memory VerseBut the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me… and Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me.” Daniel 10:13

There is a need for spiritual intelligence in solving spiritual problems. Spiritual intelligence in this case is the ability to discern how God addresses problems by principles, patterns, and dimensions, not merely by emotions or human logic. In Scripture, God does not solve issues randomly; He responds according to the realm, authority, and instrument through which the problem was introduced.

It was God’s servant, Apostle Arome Osayi who said: When you feel that your atmosphere is tense, drink prayer like water. Drink it on the street, drink it in the office. Leave your desk sometimes, go to the rest room and pray. If after two days you still feel the darkness around, call your friends that are intercessors to join forces with you. That is how we do this thing. Don’t ever stand alone. If you go beyond two days and it’s not going, reach out. It means that the warfare is forged by a conclave i.e. there is more than one person involved, so you will need more than one person for the solution.

Let’s dive into this topic more precisely:

1. When an Angel Caused the Problem, an Angel Must Bring the Solution: In Daniel 10:12–13, Daniel prayed, but the answer was delayed because an angelic prince (the prince of Persia) resisted the messenger angel God sent. Daniel’s prayer did not fail, but the solution required angelic intervention. God responded by dispatching Michael, the archangel to break the resistance. “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me… and Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me.” (Daniel 10:13).

2. When a Man in Flesh Caused the Problem, a Man in Flesh Must Solve It: God’s solutions are often dimensionally consistent. When the problem entered through humanity, God chose to redeem it through humanity. For example, the First Adam introduced sin, death, and separation from God (Genesis 3). God did not send an angel to fix what a man broke. Instead, He sent Jesus Christ—the Second Adam. Romans 5:19 says, “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45).

QuoteSpiritual intelligence is the ability to discern how God addresses problems by principles, patterns, and dimensions.
