Memory Verse: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (NKJV)
One thing I have learnt: Try to think differently. Anytime the majority is following a particular path, I try to ask myself some questions. What is the brain behind this popular belief system? Really, the buzz surrounding Christmas is becoming more emotional than sacred. Let’s go back memory lane. Christmas is that day carved out for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the only Son of God who left His throne in heaven to die for mankind (John 3:16).
For thousands of years after the fall of man in the garden of Eden, Man couldn’t reconcile back to God. The blood of bulls couldn’t speak for the remission of his sins. Nothing could bridge the gap between God and man. Hence, a need for a saviour. A need for a redeemer. No one else, save Jesus could birth a new beginning for mankind. His birth brought hope to a dying generation. Isaiah 9:6 NKJV, “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Are you looking for a new government different from the evil government of the evil forces in your family? I offer you the person of Jesus who has the government upon His shoulders. Perhaps in the last 365 days, nothing wonderful has happened in your life, why not try Jesus, whose name is called Wonderful, and who does wonders without numbers. He sure will make your life wonderful.
As Year 2024 being full of confusion? You don’t know what decision to take about relocation, career, marriage, employment, finance, etc. Why not try Jesus, the great Counsellor? As the last 12 months being devoid of nothing extraordinary? Come to Jesus now whose name is called Mighty God. He sure will work great and mighty things through you. Is your family known for a peculiar generational problem such as poverty, late marriage, rising and falling, sickness or diseases, etc.?
Why not enter into a new relationship with Lord Jesus, the Everlasting father who can rewrite your family story. Have you been troubled for the last four quarters of this year? Have you been going through emotional stress? Has the economic situation drained your emotional strength? Perhaps you’ve had no true peace for long.
Come to Jesus today, He is the Prince of Peace. Please don’t let the only memory of today be that you wined and dined. Settle the most pertinent issue of your soul with the Lord Jesus, the reason for the celebration. Give your life wholly to Him today, not only as your Saviour, but also as your Lord.

Prophetic Decree: Let every evil authority warring against your soul, be evacuated in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Today, I accept Jesus as the new Governor over my life, in Jesus name.
2. My Father, come into my life today and make it wonderful, in Jesus name.
3. Great Counsellor, establish your counsel over my life today, in Jesus name.
4. In your mightiness, O God, do mighty things in my life today, in Jesus name.
5. Today, the Everlasting Father shall change the narrative of my family lineage, in Jesus name.
6. Prince of Peace, please fill my heart with your peace now and throughout Year 2025, in Jesus name.
