Bible Reading: Joshua 1:8, Malachi 3:6, Numbers 23:19, James 1:17

Memory VerseJesus Christ never changes! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (CEV)

Do you know? A little drop of water leaking from your tap could probably fill a whole bucket before day break? This illustrates the power of consistency in doing little things! We must realize the importance of little things and how much difference it can make in all ramifications of life. Imagine letting the drops be for a year, you would be scooping with drums by the end of the year! So, how about a drop of savings everyday? How about that drop of kindness and love everyday? How about a drop of reading useful books everyday? How about a drop of giving into your heavenly account everyday? Some people think to stay spiritually strong and ever fervent, you need all the special fastings and rigorous prayers.

Fine, life calls for that atimes. But, many times, our strength lies in those little Bible study we attend during week days, daily 15 min – 1 hr quiet time, personal evangelism, giving, fellowship, podcast messages, mp3 gospel songs, Christian drama etc, we daily indulge. Friend, there is so much power in those “little drops” often despised. Even in other aspects of life such as sports, same rule applies. Kobe Bryant, one of the most talented basketballers who ever lived spent more time practising basic skills of basketball everyday. Sometimes as early as 3am in the morning. Students who prepare late for their examinations are not wise. Passing a subject doesn’t mean you’ve mastered its principles.

A daily consistent reading of 1-2 hours will do you more good. Married couples will attest to the power of those little text message, phone calls, peck, complement, sight seeing, etc, done during the day. It will surely pave the way for a great reward subsequently at night. That’s the real romance needed to keep the oil of marriage going. Seriously speaking, what virtue and discipline will you start today in little drops? Never neglect the importance of a drop, for when the harvest time comes, you would have made a big difference. The year is almost halved, where is your little drop starting from? Don’t forget your new year resolutions.

QuoteUnderstand the basics, and never outgrow the practice.

MYTHS ABOUT WORKING IN HEALING AND THE MIRACULOUS (1)

A myth is a popular belief or tradition that has grown up around something or someone which is usually unfounded and a false notion.
