Bible Reading: Gensesis 13:13

Memory Verse:  But the men of Sodom were extremely wicked and sinful against the LORD [unashamed in their open sin before Him]. Genesis 13:13 (AMP)

The people of Sodom and Gomorrah seem to be more decent than this generation. Criminals are now celebrated as Yahoo boys. They are no longer called prostitute but slay queen. It is no longer ritual/blood money, it is now Yahoo plus. Drug dealers are now called hustlers. A harlot is now a ‘runs girl’ and she says it unashamedly. Church workers now comment on immorality post in the name of “freaky-freaky”. It is no longer fornication but love making. Even rudeness is now savage. Gambling has been rebranded as “things to get around”. Pornography is now recognized as reality shows.

Premarital sex is now the main prove of love. Can you see how they have upgraded human killings to be politics? Some of these evil acts are done because of the overemphasis on grace message. Virginity that was the most costly asset for any young woman is now cheaper than a plate of food. There are ladies who deny guys access to their ATM pin, account balance, their birth certificate, but give them easy access to their private parts. A generation of misplaced priorities! Some persons have not read their Bibles for weeks now, but they know all the trending news on their various social platforms around the world. People are ready to die for their political parties rather than for the gospel.

The youths pay more respect to the voice of celebrities than the voice of God and His prophets. They monitor and follow up ballot boxes while the new converts in their churches are perishing because of lack of follow- up. This is the generation where ladies are now scheduled for hips surgery and boobs surgery. Guys are now going for penis enlargement. All these are just to satisfy their sexual urge and boost their fornication spirit. No matter how you choose to live your life, always remember there is something called death, there is a place called hell, and there is a place called judgement throne. Repent and surrender your life to Jesus Christ now, because the next minute might be too late.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord Jesus, I confess and repent of my sins of (abortion, pornography, masturbation, theft, bribery, killing, stealing, etc), in Jesus name

2. I come boldly to the throne of grace by the atoning power in the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

3. I come boldly to the throne of grace to receive abundance of mercy, in Jesus name.

4. The ghost of my past will not ruin my future, in Jesus name.

5. I silence the voice of condemnation and guilt, in Jesus name.

6. I command a total restoration of all I have lost due to my sins, in Jesus name.
