Bible Reading: Psalm 103: 1-5

Memory Verse:  Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. Psalm 103:2 (NLT)

It was God’s servant, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo who said, “Recalling God’s past doings in your life is the easiest way to provoke gratitude”.  “Give Thanks”, a song written by Minister Don Moen states, “Give thanks with a grateful heart. Give thanks to the Holy One. Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son.” Surely, the third quarter of Year 2022 has ended in praise. When there is life, there is hope. Nine months has suddenly come to pass. Would you like to count your blessings and name them one by one? Surely, it will surprise you what the Lord has done. If you can think deep, there will surely be one reason or the other why you should thank God. The little boy in the village sees an aircraft. He says in his heart, “O Lord, help me fly one day”.

The pilot flying the plane looks at the little boy playing football with his friends. He cries to God, “Oh, how I wish I can have more fun with my family”. Different strokes for different people. Such is life. Shall we all learn to be grateful and thankful wherever we are in the pendulum of life. Due to the myriads of life’s challenges, we often forget the very little things that makes the difference. You must be deliberate about thanksgiving. Sometimes you need to get a pen and a paper and list out your many blessings one by one. Never allow your new level, new glory and new height rob you of your heart of gratitude. Don’t forget those rags you wore while in the wilderness of life. They are souvenirs to testify to the faithfulness of God in your life.

Quote: Surely, it will end in praise.

Prophetic Decree: Receive a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for the lost contract because a bigger and better one is coming.

2. Thank you Father for the miscarriage because there shall be double for my trouble.

3. Thank you Father for my failing health because soon I shall not only walk in healing, I will live in divine health, and well able to minister same, in Jesus name.

4. Thank you Father for your hand of deliverance upon my life and family.

5. Thank you Father for disappointing the devices of the wicked so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
