Bible Reading: Acts 14:8-10

Memory Verse: In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:17 (NIV)

Show me your faith by your corresponding actions.  It may be as little as saying, “I will go to church and meet my pastor to pray for me over this particular issue in my health and as soon as he prays and I say amen, I will receive my healing.” Do not be surprised that God will honour that faith of yours supported by the corresponding action of going to see your pastor for prayers.

Your pastor may pray and also give you a divine instruction, make sure you carry it out. The Holy Ghost instructed after a brother was prayed for, “Let him serve as an usher in church and I will complete his healing as he serves Me.” Naaman travelled several miles to receive his healing from the prophet Elisha but his healing was tied to a prophetic action. He was instructed to wash himself in river Jordan seven times but he was not ready to carry out that instruction until one of his servants appealed to him. He could have remained a leper when God had provided his healing.

The social status and pride of many people make them stumble at the instructions of God. Do whatever the Lord instructs you to do as the corresponding action for your healing. As long as it does not contradict the word of God and it is in line with the New Testament, do it and God will perfect His word as touching your healing.

Quote: Take responsibility for your healing

Prophetic Decree: Pride will cost you everything and leave you with nothing.

Prayer Focus:

  1. I repent of my pride today, in Jesus name.
  2. Father Lord, you give more grace to the humble. Help me to be humble before you and towards the instructions you give, in Jesus name.
  3. I receive a heart of love and humility, in Jesus name.
  4. Lord, I refuse to let my status before people hinder me from obeying your word as touching divine healing.
  5. Every arrow of pride fired into my heart at the brink of my healing and miracles, back fire, in the name of Jesus.
