Bible Reading: 1 Kings 19:19-21, Phil. 3:4-11

Memory Verse: Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. Philippians 3:8

The devil took control of the earth through the fall of Adam and Eve but God is redeeming the earth through the calling and destiny He has placed upon men and women. It is expensive for the economy of heaven if you fall off the path to fulfilling you destiny. We will consider the third alternative today.

3. What you could have become in your natural training: Naturally, Paul became a lawyer because of his training under Gamaliel. As good as this sounds, this was also an alternative to the call of God upon his life. He had to “count it all dung” (worthless) when compared to God’s purpose for his life. Never let your natural talents becloud your mind from pursuing the ultimate purpose of God for your life. You were not only born to be an Engineer or Doctor. There is a higher purpose of God locked up in your Career which you must discover and pursue. I know of a Medical Doctor who is also a Prophet. With his spiritual mind he can discern when a patient is facing a major spiritual problem camouflaged as a medical problem.

The greatest enemy of what God wants to make of you is what you have become by yourself. If you will not fall for this alternative of the devil for your life, your utmost desire must be what God desires to make of you. No one would have known Elisha if he continued to plough the yoke of oxen. He would have lived an ordinary life but for Elijah who led him to his destiny.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Exodus 13 – 15

Quote: There can never be a more noble ambition outside your Divine destiny.

Prophetic Decree: Mr Flesh shall not derail you off your Destiny path in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

1. Lord, I embrace what You made me for, in Jesus name.

2. I refuse to be caged by my training in Jesus’ name.

3. Merciful Father, guide, guard and garb me mercifully on the road to destiny fulfillment.

4. I break off from any evil covenant remotely controlling my destiny, in Jesus name. 5. Authority of ease, enter into my race of destiny journey, in Jesus name.
