ALTERNATIVES TO YOUR DESTINY (4)

Bible Reading:  Mat. 9:35, Phil.  3:4-11

Memory Verse:  Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.Jeremiah 6:16 ESV

As you walk with the Lord, do not miss God’s goal in your life. God will take you through different things but you must not lose sight of where God is going with your life. If Jesus healed the sick, preached and taught in villages and cities without dying on the Cross, He would have missed His destiny. Today, we shall consider the final alternative to your divine destiny:

4. What you could become on your way to fulfilling Divine purpose:

Paul became a tent maker in order to fulfill the calling of God upon his life. Later, he dropped the job of tent making to fulfill the Apostolic calling God placed on his life. Never let what you are doing temporarily dissuade you from the call of God upon your life. Many believers say they will pursue their secular career a little longer and answer the call of God later but they became carried away with the deceitfulness of riches. Do not join them.

The goal of God’s visitation is to lead you to something greater. Peter caught a boat sinking harvest in Luke 5:1-11 but God came to point him to a greater destiny i.e. to become a fisher of men. Do not let the devil give you something lesser than God has in mind when He called you to follow Him. When you join a church, God wants you to behold the pastor as a mirror of what He can make of you but many are distracted by the people they met in church. Avoid this kind of alternatives.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Exodus 16 – 18

Quote: There is the road amidst several roads.

Prophetic Decree: Satanic vampires shall not drink the sweetness of your destiny in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

1. Shout it loud: I will not lose my destiny in Jesus name.

2. Lord, deliver me from all distractions to my destiny in Jesus name.

3. I refuse the temptation to stop before I reach my destination in Jesus’ name. Amen.

4. Pentecostal witchcraft shall not scuttle the ultimate plan of God for my life in Jesus name.

5. Fire of destiny fulfillment burn on the altar of my life, in Jesus name.
