Bible Reading:  2 Kings 2: 1-14

Memory Verse: Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the LORD God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over. 2 kings 2:14 (NKJV)

One of God’s Generals from Kaduna, Nigeria with a worldwide ministry once prophesied upon a younger minister in a prophetic service. He said, “Do you Pa Josiah Akindayomi? There is mantle in that lineage waiting for your taking. Go for it”. Ancient mantle! The mysteries God’s servant Apostle Michael Orokpo shares with his generation is obviously out of this world. There is an ancient Oil from the fathers of old that endorses such type of dimension. Before you can walk in the shoes of the fathers of old, you will need to trace their footsteps. It starts by following their foot prints.

One thing that characterized the Saints of old is that they were crucified vessels and deeply consecrated. Nothing in this world mattered to them than for Jesus to be seen in their lives, many souls saved, and the captives set free. That was what preoccupied their thought. Mind you, ancient mantle will not land upon you in one day. Elisha followed Elijah for about 20 years before he became the custodian of the same sceptre of power. Apostle Paul was in the Arabia wilderness for 3½ years.

The mysteries that came out of such solitary confinement is still being unlocked from one generation to another as documented in the scriptures. God’s servant, Dr. D.K. Olukoya was ministering deliverance outside Africa. One woman fell under power. She shouted loudly in her local dialect: “Olukoya, you pursue me here again.” That is an ancient intercontinental mantle speaking. The ease at which God’s servant, Pastor E.A. Adeboye wrought signs and wonders in the name of the Lord is a testimony that the Oil of Kenneth E. Hagin and Pa Akindayomi is resting on his head. Ancient Mantle! All ministers should please note that there is something called prophetic linkages – transfer of prophetic and apostolic mantles from one generation to another.

Every dimension of God you are looking for is resident upon someone on planet earth. Humility and honour to fathers of faith will give you your own portion. Concentrate on their graces and not their weakness. God has a way of correcting His servants in due time.

1. I will not miss my portion in the land of the living, in Jesus name.

2. I will not miss my prophetic mantle due to dishonour, in Jesus name.

3. O Lord, help me to tarry with the grace that will make me, in Jesus name.

4. I receive the spirit of humility and honour, in Jesus mighty name.

5. The spirit of offence shall not separate me from my prophetic inheritance, in Jesus name.
