Bible Reading: John 1: 1-5

Memory Verse: God’s Son has all the brightness of God’s own glory and is like him in every way. By his own mighty word, he holds the universe together. Hebrews 1:3a (CEV)

  3. On God’s mercies in our mistakes: We’ve all made mistakes, gone our own ways. But God, who is rich in mercy when we turn our backs on Him, doesn’t turn His back on us. He stoops down to the messy places, to where we failed, to where we should have been finished, and He brings us back – Pastor Joel Osteen.

  8. On entrepreneurship: People do not have patience to build a business for 5 years but they have the patience to go to work for 40 years at the expense of inheriting a clock.
  9. On your past : Don’t get stuck in the past when God has such a better future for you – Paula White-Cain.
  10. On giving: Too often, we give God only the tired remnants of our time, money, and talents. If God is not first in all, He definitely will take no place.

  12. On training: God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.
