Bible Reading: Rom. 10: 14-15
Memory Verse: For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. Mark 8:35
Have you ever posed a question to yourself? What can I do to appreciate my God IN A WAY THAT MOST PLEASES HIM? The best you can do is to ‘Be a witness for Him’. What do I mean? Simply put, tell someone else about Him. It can be as simple as sharing your salvation experience, how God delivered you from a ghastly accident, how God miraculous paid your bills, the series of events that made you an undergraduate despite all opposition, etc. The critical point is this: You are pointing your hearers to Jesus Christ. You can be a witness for God in your classroom during your free period, you could chip in a Word of encouragement while chatting with your friends. You could ask for the listening ears of your colleagues while going to school in the school bus or public transport. On campuses, you could share an evangelical tract. Witnessing could be verbal or non-verbal depending on the leading of the Spirit of God.
Many atimes, we’re too timid to raise our voices in witnessing Jesus but, we are never tired to raise loud our voices in request to Him. Every relationship must be of mutual benefit. His life, He has given to you, what will you give back to Him? Don’t be ungrateful. Consider the Martyrs of old who laid their lives down for the propagation of the gospel of Christ. Some were tied to a stake, beaten mercilessly, then given a painful death. Others for example, Apostle Paul, had their heads chopped off. Open your mouth today and tell someone about God’s love.
Quote: If you will close your mouth to the gospel, you may open your mouth in hell.
Prophetic Decree: I bind every spirit of shyness and timidity in your life in Jesus name.
