Bible Reading: John 16: 13-15

Memory Verse: Be sober, be vigilant;  because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

You must have observed that the messages in DWOJ devotional cut across different spheres of lives. We preach basic biblical doctrines such as repentance, salvation, holiness, faith, evangelism, etc. That aside, financial management, entrepreneurship, etiquette, relationship, etc, are also taught so that the Saints of God may be relatively balanced in every facet of life. What you don’t know is bigger than you. Your ignorance could cost you some pain. The testimony below is one of the reasons why we do this. A renown Man of God said that he had a danger sign before he divorced his wife. He said: “Years ago, my sweet wife and I went through a three years divorce, but later we came back together. But right before that divorce, I had birds come to my windows and hit my glass window with their mouths. It would freak me out, they came every day, and I was wondering why these birds came and made noise on my windows. I felt bad. I knew something bad was coming but I didn’t know how to pray against it. Then the Lord showed me from the Bible that birds are not actually good signs, but I didn’t pray against it so what was planned by the enemy actually happened. But thank God the divorce was only for three years and finally, God restored us. We thank God for it, Hallelujah!”

Get wisdom:

1. If anything is happening repeatedly around you, and perhaps you don’t understand what it means, humble yourself and seek counsel. Never walk alone.

2. What you don’t know can be used against you. What you don’t understand is the enemy’s advantage over your life and ministry. You must learn to ask questions when in doubt. One revelation carelessly handled can smear your entire life testimony.

Quote: You suffer loss in any area of the Gospel you trivilize.

Prophetic Decree: The devil shall not laugh last over your life, destiny, and ministry, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for your power of restoration.

2. I recover back any ground I have lost to the enemy, in Jesus name.

3. Holy Spirit, please help me not to trivilize what you are saying to me per time, in Jesus name.

4. I refuse to be busy but guilty. I shall see and avert the various danger signs God is showing me, in Jesus mighty name.

5. Holy Spirit, damage my ignorance with perfect understanding and specific instructions from above, in Jesus name.

6. I refuse to be a blind bat in the affairs of my family, marriage, home, children, destiny, etc, in Jesus name.

7. Holy Spirit, please deliver me from spiritual pride, in Jesus mighty name.
