Bible Reading: Proverbs 24: 3-4

Memory Verse: Through [skillful and godly] wisdom a house [a life, a home, a family] is built, And by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation]. Proverbs24:3(AMP)

You will agree with me that the times are changing. Like a mentor said, it seems God has pressed a reset button on planet earth. Hence, like the scriptures says, you have to walk circumspectly and not as fools. You need divine wisdom. There is inflation in the prices of almost every single product all over the world. Many are either being fired, retired or forced to change jobs. Compare the amount you spend on your daily upkeep as a family to that of last year, then you will see the difference. Hence, you must prevent destiny overload. It is in your best interest to carefully choose the problems you will like to solve. Be careful else you put too much pressure on yourself. Prevent destiny overload. Are you married? Sit down with your spouse and draw out a family budget. Work your plan and plan your work. Agree within your family budget on what to buy, the number of children you will have, etc. Faith does not exonerate you from having plans. However, should God speak expressly over a particular issue, then do as commanded. Fear not. In the wisdom of God, despite the challenging times, you can still make progress and make laudable achievements. Don’t forget that it was in the season of scarcity Isaac prospered (Genesis 26). Elijah was supernaturally fed twice a day in the season of famine. In the wisdom of God, let your dependants and relatives know if there is any change in your financial inflow that could negatively impact on them. It is all about understanding. And as soon as there is a new wave of increase, let them also be partakers. A family that stays together, grows together. For students, be very careful in your choice of career. I hope you’re observing the new norm. Most people who made it early as a teenager or youth are people who leverage on their innate ability. They discovered themselves. They understood their uniqueness. Get that degree if you’re pursuing one. However, don’t kill your God-given talents and skill in the process. Maximize your uniqueness. You will never struggle to make ends meet, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
