BE HUMBLE:  QUEENS SOMETIMES RIDE A TRICYCLE

BE HUMBLE:  QUEENS SOMETIMES RIDE A TRICYCLE

Bible Reading:  1 Peter 5: 6 -7

Memory Verse:  Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time1 Peter 5:6 (AMP)

Our dear sister further shared a similar experience. She said: I boarded a keke in an urban area in Abuja, Nigeria (an highbrow area). Around there almost everyone has a car, so if you’re using a tricycle it is a sign that you’re a visitor or a worker around there.

I was sitting close to this lady who had a pack full of envelope, she looked like someone going for an interview or coming from an interview. We got conversing and truly she was returning from an interview, she didn’t get the job.

All of a sudden, the woman seated close to us got interested in our discussion. Asked the lady what she studied and the kind of job she was hoping to the get. When the lady replied, the woman gave her her contact and told her she has a slot for her.

The woman made a call and asked her gateman to open the gate for her because she was not coming in with her car. When the gate man enquired why, she said “I left it at the mechanic by the road for repairs”. Soon, the woman alighted in front of this mansion and you can tell that this was no common woman.

These experiences taught me so much. Not every man who rides in a jeep is rich, he might just be a driver, and not everyone who boards a public transport is poor, it is just a matter of choice. Learn not to treat people based on their carriage.

Learn to talk to people humbly and responsibly. You might not find a king or queen in his palace, you might just find him walking past your street. The kind of treatment you give him or her on the road will tell if you will ever get into his palace.

Not all kings appear in their royal apparel. So, learn to honor all men. The destiny helper you have been praying for might just be sitting close to you in that tricycle. Learn to treat all men well.

Stay humble!

Quote:  Hope you have not despised the angel of your long-awaited prayers?
