Bible Reading: Luke 14:28-32

Memory Verse: “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? Luke 14:28 (NIV)

While the future is settled in God, it is only obtainable for the favoured and for the most prepared. The favour of God should not be a license for ignorance. Favour opens the door to uncommon places, character and aptitude establishes you. Both are complementary!

Beloved, you must understand how life works. Excuse me, what becomes of you if your dream job doesn’t come to pass? Will you allow life play a fast one on you? Unless otherwise stated as in the case of Isaac who was given specific instructions to remain in Egypt during famine (Gen.26:1-2), you must be flexible to diversify into a different field of endeavour and still make a head way with your life.

Faith says “All is well”. Wisdom says, “Plan and prepare adequately”. You need both faith and wisdom. God provides food for the birds of the air, but the birds do not stay in their nests all day long. They add diligence (smart work) to the favour of God that brings their daily provision. Never must you allow life box you up to a corner. Act proactively. Develop the business side of your career and always keep an open mind. If there are no jobs, with God on your side, you can create one. Many who are in so called multinationals are living below their potentials under the disguise of “high paid job”. Many God wants to be employers of labour are still being paid. Receive a lion heart to act in the direction of your dreams in Jesus name. I pray for you from the bottom of my heart: You will never be stranded in life.

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace to see beyond today, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

1. Father give me spiritual and physical insight, in Jesus name.
2. I receive wisdom for profitable living, in Jesus name.
3. O Lord empower me to see the future and prepare profitably for it, in Jesus name.
4. Decree: I WILL NOT BE STRANDED IN LIFE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
5. Powers that stopped my father, powers that hindered my mother, my destiny is not your candidate, in the name of Jesus.
6. I recover all my wasted years due to ignorance, in the name of Jesus.
