Topic:  BECOMING PRODUCTIVE FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD (1)

Bible Reading:  Matthew 5: 13-16

Memory Verse:  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)

God commanded humanity from the beginning to subdue the earth. Productivity is not a secular idea; it is a divine mandate. Many people assume some nations are godless, yet they are practicing Scripture more accurately by subduing creation and turning ideas into systems that bless humanity.

Imagine a world without airplanes. If your cousin travelled to America, you would not see him again. It would take him seven years to arrive. He would write a letter to you and that letter would take another seven years to return. You would hear the news fourteen years later. Thank God for the people whom we sometimes call godless who subdued the skies and made travel swift. They obeyed a kingdom principle even if they did not quote a Bible verse.

Imagine life without phones. In the village in those days, if you wanted to call your cousin at the stream, you had to climb on your house and shout. He would answer by echo from afar. Later came landlines, but people were trapped beside the phone, sitting for hours, waiting for a call that might never come. Then people subdued telecommunications into mobile phones, and life changed.

These examples reveal a painful truth: productivity is not about activity; it is about results. You can be busy yet unproductive. Kingdom productivity is not noise, motion, or religious routine. It is using wisdom, creativity, and discipline to convert God-given resources into solutions that bless lives.

The Kingdom of God advances when believers move beyond unproductive activity and embrace purposeful labour. God is glorified when His people think, build, improve, and finish. Fruitfulness is spiritual obedience. The call is clear: stop being busy without impact, and start subduing your assignment to the glory of God.

QuoteYour definition of who a Christian is should be seen beyond the confines of a Church.

Prophetic Decree: I break every limiting mindset that has kept me unproductive, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Let thy kingdom come over my life today, in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace to become a productive Christian, in Jesus name.

3. Holy Spirit, please change my mindset of who a Christian should be in the marketplace, in Jesus name.

4. I receive a mindset of dominion today, in Jesus name.

5. Anywhere I enter, I shall subdue, in Jesus name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  1 Kings 1-2, Psalms 37, 71, 94

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
