A man named C.C. Francis once wrote a beautiful piece. He said, “‘Please people of God, watch how you watch movies’. The movies that are shown these days are beyond entertainment. If you don’t know that already, it means you are way behind time. Apart from sex and nude scenes, violence and foul language, the bar has been raised with heinous overviews and distortion of moral values the society should embrace. Some of today’s movies have a subtle way of hyping villains as good guys and undermining heroes as bad guys. This gives room for much concern. I watched a movie where a girl was raised to be an assassin. As she became older, she killed people for a living. That’s awful, right? Now, wait for the joker. She became the hero of the movie. How? You may want to ask. Let me tell you how some filmmakers are playing on our minds, especially the young ones. This girl killed a man, whose brother was a warlord. The man dispatched all his ‘guys’ after this lady. They eventually captured, tortured and left her dead. She later recuperated and went after those guys (who were now projected as bad guys). One after the other, she eliminated them. Finally, she also killed the warlord. My friend who was watching the movie with me, exclaimed, ‘I love this girl, man!’ I asked him why. He said he loved the way she eliminated the bad guys. Then I asked, ‘Who started the war in the first place?’ He said, ‘She.’ Who killed the warlord’s brother? ‘She’. Who got paid after killing the man? ‘She’. So, why are you applauding her for killing people who came back to revenge their loss? He was quiet. This is the reality of the movie industry today. An industry that makes it difficult for people to decipher good from evil, right from wrong and morality from immorality. That’s how most people’s minds are being conditioned, because of the exposure to the wrong movies.” Shall we talk about cartoons and cartoon characters? Do you know some cartoon characters depict witches and mammaid spirits as good spirits? The producers of such cartoons  definitely have other things in mind beyond mere entertainment. Be warned: You can contact negative spirits via what you watch and hear. Be careful of what you watch. Censor all movies before giving your children access.

Prophetic Decree: May the judgement of God fall upon agents of darkness polluting the sanity of our air space, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Jesus for you are the sole controller of our air space.

2. We break the stronghold of all Beelzebub powers controlling the air, in Jesus name.

3. O Lord, purge the entertainment industry with your fire, in Jesus name.

4. My Father, raise up more Christian producers who will saturate the world with your Word through edifying movies and cartoons, in Jesus name.

5. I refuse to be ensnared by the subtle deception of these last days, in Jesus name.
