BREAKING FAMILY LIMITATIONS

BREAKING FAMILY LIMITATIONS

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post July

Friday 11th July, 2025

Bible Reading: Matthew 11:12

Memory Verse: …And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, That you shall break his yoke from your neck.” Genesis 27:40b (NKJV)

You must breakthrough in order to breakforth. If you allow your family limitations to detain your life to the backside of the desert, generations after you will experience the same. Evil family spirits are sponsored by familiar spirits, and until they are put to check by a man/woman who has become restless, the vicious family cycle continues.

You need to arise after the order of Jehu, and push down every family Jezebel that has terrorised your family line for ages. You need to arise after the order of Josiah and destroy the evil altar in your family and erect a new altar for the Lord. You need to arise after the order of Elijah, and destroy all the idol worshippers of your father’s house raising confusing incense unto the Lord.

Nothing happens until a man is dissatisfied and provoked enough to fight against the status quo. Nothing changes until people change. If you do nothing, you get nothing. Your destiny gates are opened as said from the mouth of the Lord, but there are many adversaries.

Your destiny is bright, but it won’t happen without a measure of contention. Please do not feign ignorance. There is something known as collective captivity. There is something known as evil family pattern. There is something known as family weakness. There is something known as family bondage.

Three brothers of the same father, and none of their wives are blessed with the fruit of the womb. Does that look normal?

A weakness such as sexual immorality is playing out as lust, fornication, adultery, children outside wedlock, etc, all amongst children of the same parents. Does that look like normal?

It’s been decades and the only name ever heard in a family is that of the grandfather. Does that look normal?

Aborted pregnancy after a particular dream after more than ten attempts. Does that look normal?

No child successfully crosses the age of 40 in certain families. Does that look normal?

These, and many more, are testaments to the fact that a family limitation is hidden. Arise and fight for victory is yours in the redeeming power of the Blood of Jesus.

Quote: Until there is contention, there is no victory!

Prophetic Decree: By the anointing of the Holy Ghost, come out of your family limitations, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

  1. Thank you Father for there is deliverance in the Blood of Jesus.
  2. Ancestral curses and evil covenant holding my life to ransom, be broken, in Jesus name.
  3. Arise, O Lord, show me the root of my family problems, in Jesus name.
  4. I receive the sceptre of power to overturn every evil verdict in my family line, in Jesus name.
  5. O Lord, command your blessings upon my family. Bring about a new order in my family, in Jesus name.

SEEING BEYOND THE SURFACE

Many pay attention to what is happening rather than what is going on. One of the greatest challenges in life and destiny is the temptation to focus only on what is happening i.e. the immediate, visible, noisy events around us while failing to discern what is really going on...
