Bible Reading: Gen. 11:1-9

Memory Verse: Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.1 Timothy 4:12

When the ancient Chinese decided to live in peace, they made the Great Wall of China. They thought no one could climb it due to its height. During the first 100 years of its existence, the Chinese were invaded thrice and each time, the hordes of enemy infantry had no need of penetrating or climbing over the wall because each time they bribed the guards and came through the doors.

The Chinese built the wall but forgot to build the character of the wall guards. Thus the building of human character comes before building high walls and anything else. That is what you need today!

The aura of your person gives its characteristic odour wherever you find yourself and will soon single you out for good or for evil though you may try to cover it up. I challenge you today to work on yourself. Make a sincere list of all your strengths and weaknesses. Consolidate on your strength because you can always get better and develop a plan to address your weaknesses.

Quote:  A living fish can easily be bent unlike a dry one.

Prophetic Decree: Receive power to come out of any evil habit, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

  1. Father Lord, thank you for opening my eyes to my strengths and weaknesses, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Yoke of (mention that weakness in your life), break, in Jesus name.
  3. By the power of resurrection, I rise above my weaknesses, in Jesus name.
  4. Father Lord, I need your help, strengthen me now, in Jesus name.
  5. I cover up any loophole in my life, by the mercies of God, in Jesus name.
