Bible reading: Dan. 1:11-21.
Memory Verse: “And Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not pollute himself with the king’s delicate food, nor with the wine which he drank; and he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not have to pollute himself” Daniel 1:8(DBY).
- They are without blemish: They have no defect. They can’t be faulted. You can’t catch them in sin (Dan. 1:4).
- They are Eunuch: They have been dedicated to God. The way God is dealing with them is different from their peers. Others may… they cannot! Others may be drinking alcohol, fornicating, cheating in the examination hall, paying to do their exams in ‘special’ but ungodly centres, masturbating, reading erotic novels on the internet, watching pornography in dark hours, etc., but they cannot do such things. They have been consecrated unto God.
- They are well favoured in appearance (Dan. 1:4): There is a demand of heaven over very little detail of their lives such as their dressing and hair style. You should dress to the glory of God and to cover your nakedness. Where did you learn this act of showing some part of your body in the name of fashion /trend /vogue?
- They are skilful in all wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Dan 1:4): The power of God is at work in their brain! They are quick to grasp what they are been thought. Great, sharp and retentive memory are bestowed unto them. Spirituality has missed up with their mentality!
- They are careful of what and where they eat (Dan. 1:8): Though the king’s delicacy was delicious, Daniel denied himself of it. Why? Then in Babylon, the king’s food is sacrificed to the gods of the land before they were served. It is not everything you eat! Control the gateway to your stomach. Members of the Daniel’s club are self-controlled.

Prophetic Word: May you not eat food served from demonic altars, in Jesus name.

- My heavenly Father, after the order of Daniel, make me ten times better than my contemporaries, in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, distinguish me for signs and wonders, in Jesus name.
