Bible Reading: Habakkuk 3: 17-19

Memory VerseGod might kill me, but I have no other hope. I am going to argue my case with him. Job 13:15 (NLT)

I came across the video of an American soldier who went for a rescue mission to Afghanistan. There, he lost both his upper limbs and lower limbs. It was such a rude shock to him. After a while, he decided to view life as an optimist, forgetting things that were past and looking forward to those things which are in the future. He advised his wife to move on with her life, but she objected. With the help of a very sophisticated prosthetic limbs, he can now do many things for himself including driving. He has decided to use his life and story as a source of inspiration to many who are depressed and passing through difficult times.

Brethren, almost every statement he made in that video was hilarious. You will hardly know that he was sharing his personal story. What a soldier! If an earthly soldier can view life from a dignifying paradigm, how much more we soldiers of the Lord? Why is your problem written all over your face? You are never full of life nor happy. I encourage you to be grateful today. If not for God, your situation could have been worse. Your light affliction are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed. When last did you give God undiluted praise and worship for 30 minutes alone in your closet without any of your numerous petition?

Let me tell you something: Not until you lay down your problems at His throne, there may not be any headway. Until Solomon decided to worship God with a sacrificial offering, God didn’t visit him. Your numerous complaints are coming as an offensive odour before God hence, He is not willing to hear your prayers. Take a deep thought and write out some of the great things God has been doing in your life despite the staring problems in your life. Those who think well enough will surely find enough reasons to praise God. Forget about your sorrows, praise him right now. Therein lies the solutions of all your prayers.

Quote: Praise wins the race.

Prophetic Decree: Receive the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for your loving kindness.

2. Today, I defeat every enemy of my thanksgiving, in Jesus name.

3. Right now, I trade my shame for glory, in Jesus name.

4. As wax melt before fire, let all my problems disappear before the holy one of Israel, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, please erect an altar of praise in my heart today, in Jesus name.
