Bible reading:               Matthew 5:16:23.

Memory Verse: You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:13(NKJV).

Jimmy Carter began teaching Sunday school as a teenager by age 18 at the Naval Academy cadet.

In 1962, Carter won election to the Georgia Senate and later became the 39th American President serving between January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981.  He continued to teach Sunday School while he was Georgia’s governor and the United States president.

On 24th August, 2015, at almost 90yrs, he was still on duty for Christ teaching in the Sunday school class.

With great joy in my heart I received the news of a senior pastor in a particular Pentecostal ministry who is the current Vice president of a country. He was once the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in one of the states of the Federation before then.

Have you got the gift of government like the men mentioned above? Get yourself grounded in the Word of God at this tender age of your life preparing to take over your world for Jesus and a better place for mankind. Together we shall establish the throne of righteousness and make our nation great.

Key Point:  The people rejoice when the righteous rules!

Prayer points:  

1) I will be used by God in my country, in the name of Jesus.

2) Every weakness in me, limiting my effectiveness, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
