Ever heard about the term Mycorrhizal network? It is a system of networking whereby mycorrhizal fungi connects with one another within the soil in order to transfer and exchange carbon, nitrogen, and other nutrients and minerals, including water. That means some plants are smart enough to build a wood-wide web for sustainance of their community. Similarly, in the animal kingdom, animals who stay together generate warmth despite the freezing cold especially in the Arctic regions.
If plants and animals with little or no IQ recognize the importance of a community life, how much more Man whom God created in His own image and likeness. No matter how good you are, you will always get to a junction in life where you will need the help of others. Brethren, you will need to value and cultivate quality relationship. Build your support system. Our Lord Jesus consciously and deliberately nurtured twelve friends as members of His caucus. He went ahead to make three of them members of His inner caucus. “We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.” – Herman Melville.
Be warned: If you’re short tempered, intolerant, stingy, overly possessive, etc, you are likely going to have a problem maintaining good quality relationships. Do you want your friends to be loyal to you? Take care of their needs. Be selfless. At a careless thought of wanting to drink of the sweet waters from the well of Bethlehem, some of David’s mighty men risked their lives to make it happen (2 Samuel 23: 15-17). That’s loyalty. However, he earned that loyalty because before that time David was there for them when they were distressed, fugitives and stranded. Hence, they also felt obliged to see to his welfare even if it will cost them their lives. What goes around surely must come around.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for always reaching out to me, in Jesus name.
2. Holy Spirit, please magnetize destiny changing relationships to me, and grant me the wisdom to keep them, in Jesus name.
3. I break any spiritual wall of partition separating me from my destiny relationship, in Jesus name.
4. Holy Spirit, please correct any attitudinal deficiency in me, in Jesus name.
5. Any evil altar speaking against my destiny relationships, scatter by fire, in Jesus name.
