Bible reading: Joshua 1:6-8.
Memory Verse: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8(NKJV)
The Book of the Law refers to the Bible. God was talking to Joshua on his new appointment as the prophet in Israel shortly after the death of Moses says His Words must never depart from his mouth.
In like manner, the Spirit of God is speaking to us this day saying: Our words must always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one in season and out of season, in good times and seemingly bad times, when you feel like it and when you don’t, in happy times and sad times (Col. 4:6).
When you’re sick in your body confess: I have a Father that heals me (Psalm 30:2).
When you’re downcast, like David, speak unto your soul, ” Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” (Psalm 42:4 NIV).
When you’re troubled, put God’s Word through Apostle Paul in your mouth “In every way we’re troubled but not crushed, frustrated but not in despair” (2 Cor.4:8 ISV).
When you’ve got no money in your pocket, exams are fast approaching, school fees yet to be paid, hostel rent are due, and survival seems impossible. Remember God saying, I will certainly bless you…like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore (Gen 22:17 NLT)
There are God’s promises for everyone and everything. For your deliverance (Luke 10:19), Miracle (Exo.23:26), Fruitfulness (Gen.1:28), Wisdom(James 1:5), Blessing (Gal. 3:14) etc. Search out the Scriptures diligently (John 5:39).
Quote: Bible confession equals Life possession.
Prophetic Word: Your life will not lack a Word in season, in Jesus name.
Prayer point:
1) Holy Spirit, make your words life to me, in the name of Jesus.
2) I receive grace to become a Bible addict, in the name of Jesus.
