Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 1: 1-20
Memory Verse: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” Jeremiah 32: 27 (NASB)
There lived a couple. They have six children, all females. Without fighting her, her husband’s family members brought a young lady to her husband to continue the business of child making. They believe the young lady will give them a male child. Brethren, I hope you know that it has been scientifically proven that it is the man that determines the sex of a child, and not the woman. She was devastated. She ran to a genuine man of God who told her to tell her husband to tell his new wife to go back to the village because her next child shall be a boy. Her husband decided to hearken unto her perhaps because some testimonies about the said man of God has filtered his ears. She got pregnant. Guess what? The first scan she went for showed that she was pregnant of triplets! Another miracle happened.
All the triplets were boys! I don’t know what you are probably going through that has made your God a liar to your friends, family members and even in the Church. They daily mock you, ridicule you and slander you. They can’t reconcile the results surrounding your life and the God you claim to serve. There is someone reading this devotional who is probably jobless, barren, seeking for an admission; needs a career upgrade, healing or deliverance. Please hear me: God is too faithful to fail you. Impossibility is not in God’s dictionary. Hold tight unto God. The greater the ridicule, the bigger your testimonies.
I hear the sound of an abundance of testimonies. It is your own season of special testimonies. You will make it. You will give birth to you own children. Your life will turn around. You will live in divine health. Your deliverance will be perfected. Your admission will be granted. This sister’s testimony converted her husband, and all his entire family members who were living even beyond the shores of Nigeria. Behold the God that changes story. Your own testimony shall also give birth to ripples of other testimonies, in Jesus name.
What do you do? 1. Provoke the God that changes story in fervent prayers. 2. Connect to a genuine man of God or your pastor. 3. Raise an altar of deep sacrifice. 4. Serve the Lord especially in evangelism. 5. Anchor your faith on the God of all possibilities. 6. Like Hannah, make a vow.
