Bible Reading: Joshua 1:8

Memory VerseAnd will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:4 (NIV)

If there is any message that could covenant you, it is a message such as this. Destiny is not hidden in what you do occasionally but what you do continually. The last time you prayed and read your Bible was two weeks ago. Save for some daily devotional which builds a measure of spiritual cloud around your spiritman, you could have been suffering from all manner of diseases caused by spiritual malnutrition. Until your spiritual life becomes structured, your spiritual fire will never be red-hot. Do a little research about what men like Usain Bolt, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan do daily to remain at the top in their professional careers in their days. They subjected themselves to rigorous physical exercise daily even when their body didn’t feel like. Paula White opined, “Your future is found in your daily routine. Successful people do daily what others do occasionally!”

If this is the type of daily Christian life men like Ayodele Babalola, Kenneth E. Hagin (Snr), John Wesley, T.L Osborne, Smith Wigglesworth, Archbishop Benson Idahosa practised daily, surely they wouldn’t have had sufficient spiritual energy to dislodge the power of darkness in their territories. No wonder Mike Murdock said, “I can’t change your life till I can get you to change your daily routine”.

The myth of “I am busy” has crippled the spiritual life of most Christians. Don’t be deceived: You will only have time for what you consider important. If as a student, worker, or parent, you don’t have time for personal daily Bible reading and prayers, what happens when the Lord commits the destinies of a generation unto you? Wake up, beloved and start building higher capacity. You need to structure your itinerary for each day. You need to be able to apportion time for your daily activities. You need a good sense of time management. You can pick a pen and a paper or use your phone organiser and phone alarm to set out tasks scheduled for the next day. It is not what you do occasionally that will make you, but what you do continuously on a daily basis.

Quote: The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routines – Mike Murdock.

2. Fresh fire of the Holy Ghost burn upon my heart, in Jesus name.

3. I receive an unquenchable hunger and thirst to lay hold of divine treasures from daily study of the Word of God, in Jesus name.

4. Grace to daily press into deeper waters on the altar of prayers, fall upon me by fire, in Jesus name.

5. I receive wisdom for efficient time management, in Jesus name.

6. Wind of revival, blow upon me today, in Jesus name.

MYTHS ABOUT WORKING IN HEALING AND THE MIRACULOUS (1)

A myth is a popular belief or tradition that has grown up around something or someone which is usually unfounded and a false notion. Unfortunately, many believers love God, pray, attend church, yet never step into the miraculous. This is not because God has changed, but because certain beliefs have quietly limited them. Let’s expose them...
