Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 7: 21-22

Memory Verse:  Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! Luke 17:1 (NKJV)

The Lord is still in the business of releasing  keys that will make you move from one level of glory to another in Year 2024. Do you know that the devil could do anything possible to sow the seed of rancour or offence between you and your helpers? Destiny helpers atimes are not easily understood. Infact, some of them are very difficult people. It is your responsibility to discern their contributions to your destiny whilst you adjust, adapt and bear the excesses in their behaviour and character. Like it or not, you will need to stand on the shoulder of one man, one woman, boy or girl one day to move from level of glory to another.

The Scriptures is full of such examples. For example, mighty captain of the host of Syria named Naaman needed a slave girl from Israel before he could be connected to the healing anointing upon Elisha. The healing of a mighty warrior was connected to an impoverished slave girl from another country (2 kings 5:1-15). But, some destiny helpers could be really difficult. Do you wonder how a successful entrepreneur like Elisha could cope with a strange and temperamental prophet like Elijah for about two decades?

Beyond the shield of his harsh temperament laid a transferable anointing that could perform special miracles. It will take discernment to see that. Elisha endured his training while serving Elijah until he received the double portion of his anointing. He must have refused the spirit of offence that picks on his master’s fault and human weaknesses several times prayerfully. You need to trust God to help the weaknesses of your destiny benefactor while you focus on the weight of glory that needs to come upon your life from such a person to you.

Many people who are angry with their harsh boss will repent when they understand a message like this. Many people who are picking on the faults of fellow Church workers and their pastor will stop when they understand the devices of the spirit of offence. Many wouldn’t have brought their  lives into untold pain if they had guard their heart from offence. Your spouse made a mistake but apologised. Now you call for a divorce. You better repent before the spirit of offence land your future in pain.

Children, you will never have a good reason why you shouldn’t honour your parents no matter the offence. Reject to labour under closed heaven. Reject the spirit of offence today.

Prayer Focus 

1. Thank you Father for the message of today.

2. I bind and cast out the spirit of offence, on Jesus name.

3. I receive wisdom and capacity to forbear the excesses of the person sent to take me to my next level, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace for patience and tolerance, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace for greater discernment, in Jesus name.

6. My Father whether I like it or not, please help me to fulfill my destiny, in Jesus name.

7. I come against the spirit of irritation, in Jesus name.
