Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9
Memory Verse: My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” 2 Corinthians 12:9a (NKJV)
There is hardly a perfect system anywhere on earth. Nevertheless, you must keep getting better. You must keep evolving. People should see a better version of you. You’ve got to be brutal with your weaknesses and consolidate your strength. While you take root in your weaknesses, please keep decorating your strength. Your weaknesses shouldn’t deter you from moving in the direction of your strength. Please strike a balance. Now, how do you work on your weaknesses?
1. Rely on the grace of God: You need the help of God. Be it lying, stealing, anger, overindulgence, oversleeping, gluttony, adultery, fornication, pornography, masturbation, malice, talkativeness, etc, the earlier you recognize that you can’t do it alone, the better for you. You will fail many times running in your strength. Without Jesus, you can do nothing (John 15:5).
2. Walk in Discipline: Discipline could be painful but the pain of discipline is better than the pain of regret. You can’t say you are working on sexual purity and you keep attending ungodly parties, keep late nights, or hang around the opposite sex. You must set boundaries for yourself. Sometimes, the grace of God only takes off from where our human efforts stops. Hence, you must take personal responsibility. Are you working on anger, then you must be ready to close your mouth and walk out when provoked. Your flesh will fight against such but with God’s grace you will overcome.
3. Arm yourself with Scriptures: The Word of God is medicinal. Doctor Jesus has recommended many scriptural pills as touching any area of your life in the scriptures. Confess it loud and meditate upon them. To meditate is to ponder (to think deeply) upon a scripture until the Holy Ghost gives you better understanding. As you ‘chew the cord’ of the Word in deep meditation and confession, the power to overcome any sin, weight or weakness surges into your spirit.

Prophetic Decree: May Satan have no grip over your life, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Any weakness in my life Satan is waiting to take advantage of, be converted to strength, in Jesus name.
2. I receive fresh appetite to search the Scriptures for timely solution to my weaknesses, in Jesus name.
3. I receive grace for daily meditation and confession of the Scriptures, in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to come boldly towards the throne of grace for daily mercies, in Jesus name.
5. I receive grace to discipline my flesh, in Jesus name.
