Memory verse for the week: Ecclesiastes 12:1
“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”(NKJV)
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a Pastor and was executed sometime in 1945. He was not only martyred strictly because of his Christian beliefs but also because of his involvement in the plot to kill Adolf Hitler. He strongly opposed Hitler’s treatment of the Jews. As a Christian Pastor, he could not watch the murder of millions of men and women under Adolf Hitler. Dietrich was hanged just two weeks before soldiers from the United States liberated the Concentration Camp where he was captured.
Humm….just 14 days before he could have been rescued! He could have become a living legend who lived for his faith in Christ, and love for the human race. He fell into the cold hands of death before he could ever be released. Why should Dietrich’s deliverance be so close bye and death come knocking? This is one of the mysteries of life!
Teenager, do you experience such in your family? Has any of your family member billed for a higher office in his/ her place of work suddenly died; his appointment letter coming few days / weeks after his death? This is a bad omen and calls for serious attention on the altar of prayers. Death is one of the techniques by which the devil steals people’s glory, just like he stole Dietrich’s glory. The devil didn’t have respect for the anointing on this man of God. Indeed, the devil has come to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). I curse any spirit of death roaming in the foundation of your destiny in Jesus name.
ACTION WORD: EVEN DEATH MUST DIE!
PRAYER POINT: I recommend the following deliverance prayers. Pray with power and fire. Make sure you reconcile your ways with God, and plead the blood of Jesus (7times) before you pray these prayers:
CONFESS THIS 21 times: Ps 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”
