Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 9:10

Memory Verse:  Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.  Romans 12:11 (KJV)

To be dedicated means to be devoted to a task or purpose. It means to be sold out to a particular task or thing. Dedication talks about commitment road a task or thing. Our generation is daily running short of people dedicated to a good course whether it is convenient or not. Many want to live their lives by freelance. “They want to do whatever at whatever by whatever”.

A dedicated person doesn’t do that. He is bound by his value system founded on the Word of God. It is sad but true that the children of the bondwoman are more dedicated in their service to spiritual things than many Christians. Many Christians don’t have A STRUCTURED QUIET TIME where they meet with God daily. If you must remain on fire for God, you must be dedicated to DAILY study of the Word and prayers.

What about your career/academics? Truancy (persistent and unauthorised absence from compulsory schooling) is a symptom of lack of dedication to your academics. How can you be a high flying student when you miss classes regularly, you don’t do your assignment, nor do you participate in group work? A dedicated student keeps up-to-date notes in his school and does his assignment regularly. He prepares for his examination even before the start of a new term.

Can your boss count on you as a dedicated worker who gives his/her best at work? Yes you pray, yes you fast but your work is speaking otherwise at your place of work. Don’t you know faith without works is dead? Manifest God through your dedicated hardwork in your workplace. Many are complaining of lack of career progress. The question is if you were the boss, will you promote a staff like you? Friends, our Christianity must manifest by dedicated good works.

Quote:  The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand – Vince Lombardi

Prophetic Decree:  Be baptized with the spirit of dedication to God, work, and human service, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive grace to be dedicated to my divine purpose in life, in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace to be dedicated to my daily quiet time, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to be dedicated to Christian service, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to be a dedicated A-student, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace to be the best and beat the best in all my endeavours, in Jesus name.

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
