Bible Reading:  Matthew 17: 14-21

Below are some of the testimonies of the raw power of God:

1. He wanted to commission a borehole in his village. God’s servant prayed for him and hugged him before departure. While in the village, one of the strongmen there came around. Instead of giving him a handshake, he gave him a hug. Excuse me, what happens to a man that hugs a transformer? The strongman made the mistake of his life. Not everyone is “killable”. Soon, his physical obituary was announced.

• One of God’s servant was led to a village shrine while preparing for a crusade. Then, he was in his 30s’. Some old men who were about 100 years old confronted him at the shrine. He did not only disarm them, he led all of them to Christ.

• In his days as a young Christian, this particular minister of God was quite radical. He and two of other brethren went for a village outreach for evangelism. The custodian of the evil altar in that village told them that before he would listen to them, they must enter into his evil shrine and come out alive. Pronto, they did. The strongman was very embarrassed. He expected them to fall down and die. That is the definition of the raw power of God at work.

4. He ran away from his village because of the witches and wizard that have vowed to kill him as a young man. After 13 years, now born again and grounded in Christ, he went back to the same village to destroy all the works of darkness. That is the raw power of God at work.

How do you tap into the raw power of God:

1. Be born again (John 3:3).

2. Live a holy life (Psalm 24:3).

3. Be baptized with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 1:8).

4. Seek for the fire of the Holy Ghost: “He that is coming after me shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire” (Luke 3:16).

5. Be humble (James 4:6).

6. Master the act of hearing from God (John 10: 27-30).

7. Purge yourself of every hindrance to the release of the power of God in your life. Seek deliverance.

8. Be a prayer addict (Mat. 17:20).

9. Live a fasted life (Mat. 17:20).

10. Live a consecrated life (Ps. 4:3). 11. Be full of faith (Mat. 17:20)

Quote: This generation is not waiting for explanation but manifestation of Sons of God.

Prophetic Decree: Receive fresh baptism of the Holy Ghost with power and fire, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Holy Spirit, my life is available, come into my life today, in Jesus name.

2. I break out from every foundational hindrance to the full blown expression of the power of God in my life, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to tarry long on the altar of prayer and fasting, in Jesus name.

4. Fresh baptism of the fire of the Holy Ghost, come upon me, in Jesus mighty name.

5. I receive grace to live a consecrated life, in Jesus name.
