Bible Reading: 2 kings 3: 1-27
Memory Verse: Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.” 2 Samuel 24: 24a (NKJV)
The only child of a dear man of God was sick unto death. Obviously, this was an attack from the pit of hell to unsettle his ministry and rubbish his testimony. Together with his wife, both did something very drastic. They both raised a dangerous sacrifice to overturn the activities of hell over their only child. He sowed a seed of 50 million naira ($90,000) into the work of God in another ministry. His wife sowed all her foreign currencies as a seed. That devil is a liar. Supernaturally, their child was restored.
Desperate situations requires desperate measures. The only language spirits understand is sacrifice. The deeper the sacrifice, the louder the effect. Little wonder people go into all manner of devilish things and evil sacrifices to generate power and traffic of demons. Imagine if the aforementioned man of God does not know the way of sacrifice. Perhaps it would have been written all over the papers that he used his child for fame and power.
Mesha, King of Moab was in a fix. The battle had turned sour against him. Meanwhile, a major prophet in the person of Elisha had prophesied that the king of Israel, the king of Judah and the king of Moab will defeat him (2 king 3:18). As soon as he offered his first son as a sacrificial burnt offering, he overturned the hitherto established prophecy. Behold the way of sacrifice! The Bible says “And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land” 2 kings 3:27 (KJV).
Five people have been shortlisted for a promotional interview. The only Christian amongst them did not do any serious prayer or sacrificial seed offering. Now, he is wondering why the prophecy of his man of God did not come to pass. Beloved, prophecy atimes works like a promisory note. Like Apostle Paul told Timothy, you must war into it (1 Timothy 1:18). Nothing good comes cheap. If there is any alteration in the covenant, it is simply because Man did not play his part well. Prophetic Decree: Let the ambush of the enemy scatter by the reason of your tearful sacrifice, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. I tear down the garrison of the enemies by the reason of my tearful sacrifice, in Jesus name.
2. It is written: They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. I am coming back with my testimonies, in Jesus name.
3. Let the hand of the devil over my children wither today, in Jesus name.
4. I receive divine prescription to know the sacrifice to offer for a 24hrs turn around in my situation, in Jesus mighty name.
5. O Lord, deliver me from the grip of fear and doubt. Please help me to enter into my Sabbath by the reason of sacrifice, in Jesus mighty name.
