Memory Verse: Do not scorn or reject gifts of prophecy or prophecies [spoken revelations—words of instruction or exhortation or warning] 1 Thessalonians 5: 20 (AMP)
On the 31st day of December many years ago, during a cross over service, God spoke to a man of God. He prophesied, “Before the end of this year, you will have a car”. Many said amen. Then, he paused and asked those who believe the prophecy to come out. Very few came out, and right there and then, he handed over a car to each one of them. It is one thing to believe, it is another thing to act on what you believe. Despise not prophecy. A prophecy is a sure word from the Lord declared from the mouth of His servant.
From our memory verse, a prophecy could be an instruction, an exhortation or a warning. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) says, “Do not despise prophecies” The word “despise” is the target word. That means prophecy must be carefully weighed before you believe it. You judge it by the written Word of God. This also calls for the Spirit of discernment. The woman with the spirit of divination was prophesying what was correct and true, but from an unclean spirit (Acts 16: 16-18). Our generation need to be very careful.
However, the presence of a wrong prophecy is a sure sign that a correct prophecy exist. Afterall, people can only imitate an original. At another time, a brother was in a prophetic service. The hand of God was upon the man of God and he prophesied that God will give someone a brand new house. Dearly beloved, do you know that a prophecy may not be for you but through faith, you can plug into the overflow. Eldad and Medad are the two people who were not in the impartation service organized by Moses but plugged into the overflow by faith (Number 11: 16-30). Similarly, this young brother plugged into this prophecy by faith.
As he got to the office the next day his boss called him. “Have I given you a New Year present?”, he asked. Then, he brought out a house key and handed it over to him. Listen beloved, I perceive a strong wave of mega testimonies in this season, and by the Spirit of prophecy, I bring you into the flow. Testimonies everywhere I decree. Special testimonies everywhere for you and your family, I prophetically declare, in the name of Jesus. Be wise. Raise an altar of sacrifice to seal these words of prophecy. Check page 54 now.

Prophetic Decree: The God of suddenly shall hastily bring His words to pass in your life, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. The God whose words never falls to the ground, I thank You.
2. My Father, confirm the words of your servants over my life, and perform the counsels of your prophets spoken over me, in Jesus name.
3. My uncommon testimonies, manifest by fire now, in Jesus name.
4. Powers in the heavens delaying the angel of my answered prayers, die, in Jesus name.
5. O Lord, do what only you can do in my life, that all men may celebrate with me before the end of this quarter, in Jesus name.
