DIFFERENT WAYS BY WHICH GOD SPEAKS (2)

DIFFERENT WAYS BY WHICH GOD SPEAKS (2)

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post August

Scripture Reading:    Isaiah 30:21

Memory verse for the week:   Isaiah 30: 21

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. (NKJV)

  1. Through Dreams: Dreams are audio-visual (sound and picture) means by which God communicates to Man; but unlike visions, it occurs when a man is sleeping. Dreams could come from three different sources
  2. God
  3. Joseph had a dream that his Parents and his 11 brothers bowed down to him. Gen.37:5-10.
  4. Jacob dreamt and saw angels ascending and descending a ladder. Gen 28:12.
  5. Joseph, the husband of Mary was told to take baby Jesus to Egypt in a dream

 at night. Mat. 2:13.

  • Satan
  • Multitude of business (Eccl 5:3) e.g. when you overfeed before going to bed or when you play too much the previous day! L

Your dreamland is your spiritual monitor therefore no dream should be taken for granted.

Consult those you sense the grace of God upon their life to interpret your dreams for you if you can’t.  Also, have a book where you write down your dreams. If you ever had a dream you didn’t like, wake up and cancel it by the power on the blood of Jesus (Luke10:19, Rev.12:11).

  • Through Angels:  God could send his angels to pass a message to an individual, group or Church. Angels are messengers from God in heaven. They work for God. The birth of Jesus was announced to Mary by an angel. Luke 1:26-38.

ACTION WORD:      WHAT A MONITOR IS TO MY COMPUTER IS WHAT MY DREAM IS TO MY SPIRITUAL LIFE.

PRAYER POINT:

  1. Every spiritual cataract in my eyes, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Spiritual deaf and dumb spirit that has prevented me from hearing God speak to me, I cast you out, in the name of Jesus.
