Bible Reading: Habakkuk 2: 1-2
Memory Verse: …For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice. John 18:37b (NKJV)
A woman who was a secretary for many years. She would make fifteen mistakes in one letter. Her boss would correct it, send it back to her to retype, but there would still be mistakes. The boss would send the letter back to her about fifteen times. And she was meant to be a professional secretary, but she was so miserable until she was sacked. She went back home and realized that her passion was in catering and nutrition. She entered food, beverages and catering business. In a very short time, she became a millionaire in dollars.
She was sacked from a secretarial job, but catapulted into the area of her passion, and she prospered. Beloved, if you have not succeeded in your endeavour, you are not a failure; it is possible that you have only been pursuing the wrong things. Everyone came into the world for a purpose. Jesus said, “…To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world…” (John 18:37). When a person does not discover the purpose why he was born, he ends up as a wanderer on earth. But when you discover your purpose, you end as a wonder.
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. The purpose of life is the life of purpose. The meaning of life is the life of meaning.
2. Success in life is success in purpose. Success in life is finding out what God is doing and doing it with Him – T. L. Osborn. It is only when we succeed in purpose that we succeed indeed.
3. Every product on earth was created for a purpose (Isa. 43:21; Jer. 1:5).
4. Purpose precedes creation: The creator/manufacturer of the product is the determinant of its purpose. Therefore, the only way to discover your purpose is to enquire from God, your Creator.
5. If you want to find out the purpose of anything, you don’t ask the product, you ask the Creator – Myles Munroe.
6. Purpose is not the decision of the product, purpose is the discovery of the product; you don’t decide your purpose, you only discover your purpose (Luke 4:17-18). Your purpose is not your decision; your purpose is your discovery.
7. What you decide to become is ambition, what God wants you to be is purpose. Your greatest success in life is to make purpose become ambition. Your greatest success in life is to take God’s purpose for you and turn it into your ambition. When you make God’s purpose to become your ambition then you guarantee your destination.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for bringing this timely words to me at such a time like this.
2. In this Year 2025, I will live according to God’s purpose for my life, in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, you are my Creator, reveal unto me my purpose, in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to discover and pursue my purpose in Jesus name.
5. Man, friends, self, and the world shall not lure me to pursue ambitions while I am meant to pursue purpose, in Jesus name.
