Bible Reading: Isaiah 62:6-7

Memory VerseBecause I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torchIsaiah 62:1 (NLT)

Friends, we must be discerning. As parents, carers, pastors, mentors, or teachers. We must sustain the ability to see beyond the physical. Usually, a great destiny attracts a great spiritual assault. Covenant children attract major battles. The ripest fruit attracts the greatest threats.

Many of the demonic assault, satanic barriers, and constant problems faced by many children are simply because of the unique destiny they carry. Such children may come from a Christian home notwithstanding. If the star of one-day old Jesus could be interpreted and traced with precision by astrologers, why do you think the glorious destiny birthed by prophecy before the coming of your glorious children will not be challenged. Wake up parent. Wake up guardian. Don’t stop loving that child. Fight for his/her destiny. There are destinies and there are destinies. The glory of the star cannot be compared to the glory of the moon, and the glory of the moon cannot be compared to the glory of the sun. Similarly, the glory of children differs. The brighter, the more satanic rage.

Such children may be sickly especially during infancy. Such children could become wayward at some point. Such children could initially become a drug addict, womaniser, fornication, or armed robber. The devil could launch specialised attacks on them at the junction of marital decision, etc. – all in a bid to kill the star, dim their light, or quench their destiny. Parents, guardians, pastor, please learn to be discerning. There is a difference between a life influenced by demons and a life under the spiritual surveillance of a principality. The latter poses more satanic disaster than the former.

I want to encourage all parents, guardians, and pastors experiencing a difficult time with their biological and/or spiritual children, receive strength in your inner man. You have been called as a Watchman.

For “Zion’s” sake you must not hold your peace, and for “Jerusalem’s” sake, you must not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. Keep fighting the powers behind the waywardness of the child and not his person. Don’t stop loving that child. Live true to your calling. Remember we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Deal with the spirit and not the person; all in AGAPE (UNCONDITIONAL) love. Receive grace for perseverance, in Jesus name.

Assignment: Watch the film, “Bruised heel” produced by Febisola Adebusuyi.

Quote:  Your travail as a sheep and prevail as a lion.

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace never to be weary until prophecy becomes manifestation, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for your Word of encouragement to every weary Watchman.

2. I receive grace for prophetic intercession.

3. I receive grace to stand on my altar until the purpose of God is established upon my children, in Jesus name.

4. Every arrow of discouragement fired into my heart, backfire, in Jesus name.

5. Like Simeon and Anna unto Jesus, I shall birth my prophecy. The devil shall not have a final laugh over my children, in Jesus name.
