Bible Reading: Matthew 15: 21–28
Memory Verse: Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm. Psalm 105:15 (NASB)

Your attitude towards God’s anointed will ultimately determine what the anointing will do for you. Sometimes, the person that will bless you may be the same person that may initially insult you. Live above such insults. Keep your gaze on the anointing of God upon his life which you covet. This typifies what happened to the Syrophoenician woman in our Bible reading of today. Beloved, men of God are first of all mortal men before they became “men that carried God”. They sure can err. They sure will err atimes. But, you must keep your focus on God in their lives and honour them at all times even as you intercede for them. God surely has a way of correcting them. Shall we go into the devotional for today? A Pastor was preaching in Church on a particular day. He said, “How can cockroach, rat, mosquito, etc, living in your house, and eating from the crumbs of your table give birth to their offsprings, and you tell me that you are barren. Another pastor’s wife from another Church who happened to be a spiritual daughter of this man of God was in service on this particular day. She had two options. Either to feel insulted about those words or to be provoked and impacted with the grace to carry her own child. Thank God she chose the latter. After the service, she told her husband that there was no need to see her father in the Lord as God has already answered her prayers. He was shocked. She took hold on those fiery words and cried to God. “O Lord, my barrenness must end”. Guess what? God heard her prayers. She passed the test. Today, it is her testimony of a bouncing baby that provoked this devotional. What has your Pastor said and got you annoyed? Perhaps it is a test. Humble yourself and stay glued to the anointing you need for your destiny to leap for joy. Many times, the devil does everything in his power to disconnect us from the grace that will make us. Reject the spirit of offence now and always, in Jesus mighty name.
Quote:

  1. A test always precedes a major miracle.
  2. The spirit of offence is one of the devil’s foremost weapon of disconnecting men from their miracle.
Prophetic Decree: No weapon of the devil formed against your miracle shall prosper, in Jesus name.
    Prayer Focus
  3. Thank for Father for your manifold wisdom that pass finding out.
  4. I receive the breaking of my outer man and the release of my spirit, in Jesus name.
  5. I renounce and reject the spirit of offence, in Jesus mighty name.
  6. I break every wall of partition set between me and my miracle, in Jesus name.
  7. I receive grace to honour God’s anointed even when I am familiar with their weaknesses, in Jesus name.
