Bible Reading: Isaiah 60: 18-21

Memory VerseThough thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increaseJob 8:7 (KJV)

When you come from a culture where material things are overcelebrated, it may reduce your enthusiasm to start small. In advanced societies, when you fail in your quest to achieve a great feat, you are celebrated because you’ve just reduced the chances of failure in that field. They value research. A pharmaceutical company could spend billions of dollars in research of a particular drug until the research is concluded. This explains the wide variation between the underdeveloped/developing countries and developed countries of the world. Now to you, my reader.

What legitimate price are you ready to pay in order to see your dream business come to pass? What legitimate price are you willing to pay in order to see yourself climb higher in your career and finance? Many are tired of where they are, but they are not ready to give all it takes to move to where they desire to be. Your progress will cost you something. Your time, your ego, your resources, your comfort, your money, your intelligence, your sleep, some relationship, etc.

Anywhere worth going is worth making a sacrifice for. However, be it in business or in career, you must learn to start small and dream big. Everything God ever created started small and many atimes, in a confused state. The earth was in a confused state, and in darkness when God said, “Let there be light”. Before the twilight of every morning is a thick darkness. I came to challenge you by the power of the Holy Spirit that your dream business is achievable if you wouldn’t give up starting small. Bill Gates started Microsoft from his room.

Nnamdi Ezeigbo, CEO of Techno phones once shared a small shop with a friend. Today, both businesses are raking in millions. That ministry is possible if you won’t give up small. Bishop Oyedepo started his ministry from a lawn tennis court. Dr. D.K Olukoya started his ministry from his sitting room. Dream big, but have the mental stamina to start small.
