Bible Reading: Prov. 24: 3-7

Memory Verse: If someone ‘s axe is blunt – the edge isn’t sharpened – then more strength will be needed. Putting wisdom to work will bring success. Ecclesiastes 10:10(ISV)

Consider the following “Don’ts” in your Career choice:

  1. Don’t choose a course primarily for its financial benefits: Don’t study a course only because of the financial gain.  Study a course because it is God’s will for you which of course, you have talent for.
  2.  Don’t choose a career to please anyone: It is sad but true that many choose a career to please their friend. Why follow the crowd? Others choose a career to please their parents. Do not be a shadow of your real identity. Dare to live a fulfilled life. You could have a high pay job, yet you wake up everyday unfulfilled. Go for your dreams. Kurt Cobain said, “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are”.

You cannot enjoy what you are doing without giving your best to it. One day, someone will pay for it. Think Value. Think contribution. What value or contribution can you add to your field to the glory of God and for the benefit of mankind?

Quote:

1. “Find out what you like doing best, and get someone to pay you for doing it”- Katharine Whitehorn

2. “The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”- Steve Jobs.

3. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” – Confucius.

4. Decisions determine destiny.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Genesis 38 – 40

Prophetic Decree: Destiny diverters shall not divert your destiny in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. My Father open my eyes to the career you have chosen for me, in Jesus name.

2. I come against powers that divert destinies in my family, in Jesus name.

3. Witchcraft powers working against the works of my hands die, in Jesus name.

4. I come against any power working against my prosperity, in the name of Jesus.

5. Hidden covenants and curses of “thou shall not excel” from my father and mother’s house, be broken, in Jesus name.
