Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 19: 20-24

Welcome to the School of Mysteries. When you read our Bible reading of today, you wonder why a man should strip himself naked while he prophesied. Don’t you think an evil spirit is trying to find expression in such a man even as the Spirit of the Lord takes possession? It is sad but true that many children of God are juxtaposing between the Spirit of God and an evil spirit. At one time, the Spirit of God is fully in charge of their lives, and at another time, the oil of the evil powers of their father’s house is at work in their lives. Haven’t you seen some Christians prophesy powerfully in a Church service while they fight with traffic warders, and in some cases another Church member just immediately after the service? Double spirit! This is another reason why some people will never receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit until they have gone through deliverance. Respectfully speaking, many servants of God are operating under a double spirit. After a powerful service filled with signs and wonders, they cannot control the overwhelming urge of seeing half-naked women. Believe me, it happened in history.  The negative oil of their father’s house is fighting hard to find expression and eventually rubbish all what God is doing through them. You will be wrong if you think this happens only in Africa. A man of God who operates in signs and wonders died a drunk many years ago in a country in North America. Double spirit! I’m not happy to write this (names withheld). He grew up in the Church and ended up in the club house. Recently, he was convicted of sexual assault with many ladies especially minors (young girls below the age of 18). At a time, he could release a gospel album of not less than 10 tracks, and at the same time release a worldly album on the same day. Double spirit! When a man with higher grace and anointing enters a territory, you will be surprised that even a pastor can begin to manifest as if possessed with demons. This is the mystery behind cryptic demons. Double spirit! Enough of perusing into the lives of others. Now, can you carefully scan through your life under the forensic microscope of the Holy Ghost as you locate and deal with areas of your life where the idol spirit of your father’s house, the masquerade spirit of your mother’s house, and the lustful spirit in your environment, etc, are finding full time expression? Examine yourself.

Prophetic Decree: I command any foul spirit lying below the radar to come out by fire, in Jesus mighty name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for your fire of deliverance.

2. O Lord, turn your search light into my life, and purge me of all negative spirits laying below the radar waiting for an opportune time to strike.

3. I reject and renounce the negative spirit of my father’s house, in Jesus mighty name.

4. Smoke of fire, choke every foul spirit out my life, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, here I am, have your way unhindered in my life, in Jesus name.
