Bible Reading: Romans 11: 5-7
Memory Verse: And there are [distinctive] varieties of ministries and service, but it is the same Lord [who is served]. 1 Corinthians 12:5 (AMP)
By “election of grace,” we mean God chooses certain individuals for certain purposes without any regard to their own merit or actions; but solely out of His own sovereign grace. God chooses those who will mirror certain dimensions in Him, not based on any foreseen actions or faith on the part of the individual.
First, let me make a disclaimer: The devotional of today is not to stop you from pressing into deeper dimensions in God, but rather to draw you into intimacy with God, and consequently, obtain your own dimension ONLY AS REVEALED (not as copied borne out of lust).
Many are pressing into God, but pressing wrongly. There are conditions needed for answered prayers. Amongst such is alignment! Your prayer must align with the will of God, and not your own lust (1 John 5:14).
Many are praying for the mantle of the great Apostle Babalola, not knowing that he was elected by God’s grace to model that dimension. Has God specifically called you to follow in his stead? No wonder some people have died on long fasting, others have developed complicated health problems, and some others are frustrated in their pursuit for God’s power.
The mantle to take up the mountain of the media is upon your life in this Gen Z age, why contend for another? Friends, can we all patiently wait upon the Lord to usher us into our own unique dimension?
A caveat: There are still many that may model the dimensions of our fathers of faith. However, it is at the discretion of the Almighty God, the owner of the work Himself.
Didn’t Moses lay his hands upon Joshua and transfer the same Spirit upon him? Interestingly, the same Spirit that worked in Moses as a prophetic leader, worked in Joshua as a military leader! Same God, Same Spirit, but Different Operations and Manifestations! Joshua, having received the same Spirit upon His master, was intelligent enough to work in his own prescribed operation. That suggests that in our similarities, there could be differences; and in our differences, there could be similarities.
Back to the opening statement of today’s devotional. Why not press in intimacy with the Almighty until you receive your own pattern? Then, you can begin to press deeper in that dimension that was revealed. Be true to yourself. Be true to your calling. Be true to your election. Follow your own prescribed dimension only as revealed and not as copied. There can’t be another you! Don’t be a photocopy. Be original.

Prophetic Decree: May you run according to your ordination, in Jesus name
Prayer Focus
1. I receive grace to press into intimacy with God, in Jesus name.
2. O Lord, take me deeper into knowing You. I refuse to embark on a journey you haven’t commissioned me, in Jesus name.
3. Holy Spirit, please hold my hands on the journey of intimacy with you, in Jesus name.
4. I receive wisdom to know the ways of the Spirit, in Jesus name.
5. O Lord, reveal Your ways unto me that I may not run another man’s race, in Jesus name.
