Memory Verse: Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. 1 Corinthians 10:12 (AMP)
Are your emotions always on an electronic motion? Ask many who fell into premarital sex or extra marital sex, they will tell you they didn’t see it coming. It all starts when one thinks he/she cannot fall. How wrong? There have been sex scandals involving top ranked Professionals, Captains of Industry, Artisans, Priest, and even Pastors. Shall we all take precautions, even as we learn wisdom:
1. Don’t be too friendly with the opposite sex. This is where lots of people land in trouble. Over-spirituality and pride will destroy anyone. You can’t handle close friendship with the opposite sex as a married person. Your heart is involved. Set boundaries. Be disciplined. Be cordial. Be respectful. Be godly. Be holy.
2. Avoid unnecessary eye contact that lingers with the opposite sex.
3. Be careful who you share your personal problems with especially if it is an opposite sex. It will bond you together. Problems bond people.
4. Protect your family. Don’t share your marital problems with the opposite sex. It will bond you.
5. Don’t contact any opposite sex you are fond of. If you secretly admire them, you are fond of them, and there is a tingling in your heart at the mere thought of them, don’t contact!
6. As much as you can, avoid discussions with the opposite sex when you are tired, very sad, depressed, sorrowful, drowsy, sleepy or very sick. This can becloud your judgment and make you say silly things. Talk to your husband/wife instead.
7. Stop focusing on your spouse’s weaknesses and appreciate his/her strengths. If you always see the bad side of your spouse, you will be angry, bitter, critical and look for someone who can “understand” you and make you happy aside your spouse. That is the beginning of an emotional affair and eventual sexual affair. It is the beginning of the end of a once glorious marriage!
8. Stop saying “I love you” to the opposite sex who is not your spouse. For what?.
9. Never flirt with the opposite sex.
10. Work on your marriage. Keep the fire of love and romance alive in your marriage.
11. Mind the pictures you post on social media. Limit pictures that show your curves or portray you as sexy.
12. Avoid unnecessary compliment of the opposite sex who is not your spouse.
13. Consciously and deliberately severe all ties with all your EX once you are in a committed relationship.
14. Don’t tell an opposite sex you are romantic or sexy. That private information is for your spouse only.
15. Don’t chat with the opposite sex who is not your spouse on the days you are horny.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for your wisdom and love towards me.
2. I bring my emotions under the control of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.
3. Holy Spirit, please help me to have self-control, in Jesus name.
4. I rebuke the foul spirit of emotional infidelity, in Jesus name.
5. I receive grace to set my heart on heavenly things, in Jesus name.
