Bible reading: Genesis 13:14-15, Psalm 73.
Memory Verse: I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guard post. There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint. Habakkuk 2:1(NLT)
5. Not recognizing where you are: God said to Abraham in Gen.13: 14, “Look from the place where thou art.” When you know where you are, it will always affect what you see. The moment Adam and Eve recognized where they were after eating the fruit, it affected what they saw of themselves; that was when they both realized they were naked. Always recognize and stay in the right place, so that you can see well.
6. The Word of God: When you spend enough time meditating on the Word of God, it will surely affect what you see, because you get deeper insight and see well because your faith will increase. When your faith increases, it will affect what you see. Spend ample time meditating on the word of God.
7. Prayer: This is one of the major things that will affect what you see. In Psalm 73, David said that when he was considering the prosperity of the wicked, he got discouraged and believed that serving God is in vain, but when he went into the sanctuary of the Lord to pray, he saw their end. He did not know their end until he began to pray. Take time to pray and you will experience God and see better.
Prophetic Word: I command fresh fire upon your spiritual altar, in Jesus name.
Quote: Eat the Bread of life then you will truly see.
Prayer Focus:
- Holy Spirit, increase my appetite to fellowship with you more and more, in Jesus name.
- Witchcraft sponsored spiritual blindness, catch fire, in Jesus name.
- Every power pouring cold water upon my spiritual altar, die, in Jesus name.
